10 magnificent Nyan Cats
Nyan Cat, also known as Pop Tart Cat, was originally an 8-bit animation depicting a cat with the body of a cherry pop tart flying through outer space. The Pop Tart Cat animation was posted on the daily comics site LOL-COMICS run by illustrator prguitarman on April 2nd, 2011. Since then artists have given Nyan Cat new life through their own artistic interpretations.

The woodcuts & etchings of Tugboat Printshop
Paul Roden and Valerie Lueth together make Tugboat Printshop which is their printshop, home, and studio space in Pittsburgh, PA. They specialize in amazing original woodcuts and etchings. Through their pursuits, they hope to keep printmaking alive in the public’s mind, reaching new audiences through travel, online interactivity, and direct conversation.

Parallel to increasingly computer-driven imagery, it is both refreshing and encouraging to see the resurgence of working by hand — as well as an expanding community that finds value in this practice. This collection (by the Happycentro creative studio) explores how typography can be whimsical and bizarre, innovative and thought-provoking, and most importantly, downright fun!
Artist: Irene Maria Jacobs, illustration
Irene Maria Jacobs was born in 1969 in the Netherlands and is currently living and working in Rotterdam. She decided to study fashion Illustration at the Art-school St Joost in Breda, Netherlands. During her period of practical training Irene went to Germany to get some work experience in an advertising agency. In 1996 She moved to Rotterdam in the Netherlands and developed her Illustration skills.
